A Winter Of Murder, Romance, Bitchin’ and Zombie Teddy Bears

Cold, isn’t it? The nights getting longer. The days getting grayer. It’s not long until November, and then it isn’t too far until December. Winter, it is upon us. No light. No warmth. Nothing to look forward to. Just an age of shivering, seasonal affective disorder and black ice.

WRONG! There’s plenty to look forward to! Web series save the day yet again. Here’s a brief run down of what’s coming up.

Rom.Dot.Com – October

I previewed Rom.Dot.Com recently and the series has now launched, with the first full episode going live on October 14th. Rom.Dot.Com was made possible due to a crowd funding campaign; despite not reaching its funding goal this project was still able to go ahead thanks to Indigogo’s flexible funding option.

The show follows Kate as she finds herself with the not so glamorous job of taking those looking for love (unsuccessfully, for reasons that become apparent). She putts her rusty writing skills to work by crafting dating profiles that cannot fail to entice, even for a man with a face tattoo. The first episode shows that some great performances and snappy writing should make this show a success.

The show is written by Suzy Evans, stars Mikaela Feely-Lehmann (@mikaelasays), and will have a new episode uploaded to the Rom.Dot.Com. YouTube channel every Monday.

More Job Hunters this Winter? That was a pretty quick production given the scope of the series.
